What is a quitclaim deed=
A quitclaim deed is a fast way to transfer property to a buyer. But you should know that, unlike general or special warranty deeds, the quitclaim includes no protections for the buyer
Quit claim deeds may remove your name from the property's title but it will not remove you from other responsibilities that come along with the property. If your name is also on the mortgage for the property, you must still make the mortgage payments.
The price for a QCD starts at $150.
